I think I'd like to start this off by saying that if you're a British citizen wanting to return to your country but your passport has expired, don't bother. It's too much hassle to be worth it. Thanks to the idiot visa rules, I'm now having to travel across the country to pay twice as much money as I was that I don't have to renew my passport to travel to England in 3 weeks time, which ain't gonna happen, so I've gotta apply for an emergency passport too, which is, surprises, a lot more money I don't have.
Then onto much happier topics: My rats! They're now rather large little critters, weighing in at a tremendous 140g. =P The boys are going

Babies!

Well, last week Friday I got my babies. :D My good friend Kim and my husband Kevin both secretly (and not so sercretly) wanted babies of their own so I decided to share ownership with them. Between the three of us, we now own Scurry, Dippa and Lady.
It's so ridiculously fun having baby rats! At first they were quite shy and spent most of their time sleeping. They were pretty young, the pet shop gave them to me too early and I didn't realise until I researched and found to my disgust that she'd taken them away from their mom a whole two weeks early. :disbelief:

Sooo, I turned 20 on Saturday and I got thoroughly spoiled. @.@ First off, breakfast was made for me before I went to work. American pancakes (cos I loved them when I visited) with bacon, syrup, strawberries, kiwi fruit, grapes, cream and coffee. Om-nom.
Then there was a party with lots of food and my favourite cup-cakes and stuff, but I was given a CAMERA! =D Everyone put money together and sent off my sister-in-law (who's a wedding photographer) to buy the best she could with the money she was given.
